Evanston - The Rest of the Project

In my opinion, images are the best way to show impact. So, without further ado, here are the before and after pictures of our #SCIDElevatedinEvanston project.

Updating the entry with new flooring, a new light fixture, an exterior door and a new bench did wonders for this dark space and really impacts the feeling of this home upon entry. The changes carried into the laundry off the garage entry, where new tile flooring was installed (not shown) as well new plumbing fixtures, a mirror and lighting in the small powder room.

Flooring and paint made a huge difference in this space, but never underestimate the power of furniture and decor! It truly transforms a space beyond your dreams, and this home is a perfect example of that. There were no major structural changes made, but with new flooring, paint, countertops, backsplash and lighting, the entire kitchen and main floor got a major upgrade. Painting out the millwork and creating a focal point with wallpaper drastically changed the living room fireplace wall, even without changing the fireplace surround. The end result is fresh, bright and much more suited to this young couple and their two fur babies!

Don’t you just LOVE seeing the before of a redesigned home? We sure do! Not only is it thrilling for us to imagine all the possibilities of a space, we also love the reminder about how far it’s come!
